 He couldn’t believe his eyes. He blinked a few times trying to dispel the apparition before his eyes. It failed to unmaterialize. It was still their in his hands. he reread it again and again. But the word refused to change.  
 He was holding a piece of paper that spelled out in no uncertain words. Get the fuck out. that wasn’t exactly what it said. But that was the gist of it. It was an eviction notice. It was true that he had fallen behind in his rent. He had lost his job a couple of months ago. He had been fired over some technical bullshit.
